Another royal line that I descend from is that of the Habsburgs of Austria. I come to this line through the Sears family. Their ancestral line to British royalty is confirmed by the naming of a son of the Sears emigrant to America, Richard Sears. He named his son Knyvet, a tribute to his great-grandmother Anne Bouchier Knyvett's line, which stems from the Plantagenets. The Sears' link to the Habsburgs is through Richard's mother, Marie Lamoraal von Egmond whom his father married in Holland.
